United World of Young Chefs (UWYC) | IIHM YCO 2026
Food has the power to unite people, and at the IIHM International Young Chef Olympiad (YCO) 2026, this philosophy comes alive through the United World of Young Chefs (UWYC) —one of the most anticipated global culinary networking events of the Olympiad.
As IIHM hosts the 12th International Young Chef Olympiad from February 1 to 6, 2026, young culinary talents from all over the world gather under the inspiring theme “Preserving the World’s Global Culinary Heritage through AI.”
The United World of Young Chefs (UWYC) is a signature, non-competitive cultural and networking experience where participating student chefs and their mentors prepare and present authentic national cuisines in a single, immersive culinary showcase. Often described as the Networking Event, UWYC demonstrates how food transcends borders, languages, and cultures—building global connections through shared culinary heritage.
For the first time ever, UWYC at YCO 2026 will be hosted simultaneously across five Indian cities—Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Goa, and Bengaluru— spreading the spirit of global culinary unity across India.
At UWYC, one table brings together many nations, reaffirming IIHM’s commitment to connecting the world through food, culture, innovation, and future hospitality leaders.
